Inspired by my long-standing fascination with Scotland, this year’s exhibition series, Tiny Trails of Scotland, focuses on the magic of the little things. Through intricately detailed watercolors, I capture the diversity of the Scottish landscape – in vibrant colors and on the smallest of scales.

Scotland has captured my heart –

a small but captivating journey through the land of the Highlands.

The magic of Scotland first captivated me on a trip as a teenager – back then, it was the mysterious legend of Nessie that sparked my fascination. Today, it is the majestic mountains, picturesque lochs, and mysterious moorlands that have stayed with me ever since exploring them on my hikes.

These detailed miniatures take you to famous film locations, windswept castle ruins, and charming places steeped in history and myth. From dramatic coastlines to quiet valleys, they capture the diversity and atmosphere of Scotland – in vibrant colors and with lovingly crafted details.
